It's the same with compliments for women. We KNOW when you're just being nice and we WANT you to lie to us. As long as you're making the effort to appear sincere, we're totally fine with that too.

This is very true. Human beings inherently need new things to keep life interesting. That's why men like Casanova kept going to different women. It kept things interesting. Not only that but when it comes to being a man in a relationship I have seen a good friend of mine who was going to propose to his girlfriend but when an event caused him to panic and became wimpy around her she lost all attraction and respect for him. During this event he was not confident in himself and she wanted leadership from him even if he failed. Deep down she couldn't trust him and that's why he doesn't understand what when I try to explain it to him. Some men might think she was being cold, but she wasn't and I don't blame her. And whats sad is this guy is 41 and I'm 20!!! Man when will men learn?
